ACMH Annual Conference
Conferences 15.09.2022We Shall Overcome!
Location
Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center
It’s been almost 3 years since we last joined together…so we at ACMH are thrilled to announce the in-person return of the ACMH Fall Annual Conference! This year’s conference theme is “We Shall Overcome: Advocacy to Activism” which seemed a fitting call to action as we gather back together amid a national crisis in children’s mental health. Indeed, the need to stand together to more effectively meet the needs of children, youth, and young adults with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges in our state is great.
The problems we face are not all new and solving them will not be easy. It will take time, dedication, the perseverance of many and the expertise of all of us especially that of youth and families whose lived experience likely holds the key to real and long-lasting change.
We Shall Overcome has become a civil rights anthem used across the world for over 50 years, but it began as a folk and grass roots work song. So we invite you to join us as we roll up our sleeves and get to work. The ACMH conference was created as a venue for families, youth and professionals to join together and learn alongside and from another so what better place for us to start. We would love to have join us as a participant or as a presenter!
Requests for Presentations are being accepted now and online registration is opening soon so be sure to check back soon to reserve your seat. We would love to have you join us!
Yes the time to act and join together in advocacy and activism is now.
And if we do…
We believe deep in our hearts that change is finally going to come and together..
We Shall Overcome!
