Vacancy for Financial Reports Analyst Intern in Baku, Azerbaijan

PSG-Capital Investment Company was established in 2012 for the purpose to improve securities market and financial instruments market in Azerbaijan. We are looking for interns for a duration of 4 months. Permanent job offer after a successfull internship is possible.


  • Analyze deposit, security, credit, bank organizational structure and other financial data received from banking, non-banking and other institutions;
  • Analyze aggregate data and prepare well thought-out and detailed analyses of underlying trends;
  • Analyze data on a micro and macro level to identify trends and inconsistencies;
  • Familiarity with large databases and statistical packages (for example Excel, R, SAS, SLQ, and STATA);
  • Work with respondents to resolve reporting issues and ensure the accuracy of reports;
  • Research complex issues in the banking or securities industry;
  • Suggest ideas for improvements to workflow and output reports to data users;
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments, as required.
  • Research issues associated with reported transactions and financial instruments;
  • Research and respond to inquiries from respondents and other regulatory agencies regarding reporting requirements;
  • Create and update operating procedures, instruction, and training manuals 



  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance; 
  • Language Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English, additional knowledge of Russian;
  • Recent college graduate,  3rd or 4th year of bachelor’s degree and/or the 1st and 2nd year of the Masters; 
  • A proven record of strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills demonstrated by the ability to understand complex and technical topics and arrive at sound judgments; 
  • Preferably have a basic understanding of financial markets and instruments, including familiarity with the securities industry, financial instruments, bank organizational structure and capital markets; 
  • Ability to think critically and make recommendations to improve workflow and service levels; 
  • Excellent organization and self-management skills; 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; 
  • Detail oriented and proven ability to assimilate new information quickly; 
  • Manage multiple tasks independently, while consistently providing high quality and timely products; and 
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft products such as: Excel, Word, Power Point
