KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and ACTIVITIES

ORGANIZATION ALIGNMENT TO THE BUSINESS STRATEGY:

  • Understands key markets and environmental influences on the Business
  • Forecasts and develops talent strategies that meet operating plan objectives
  • Balances short term needs / tactics with long term strategies; calibrates needs of the organizational unit with the broader Business
  • Assesses financial implications of headcount models and develops multi-year headcount plans

HR STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:

  • Integrates multiple priorities and makes necessary trade-offs into an HR plan that supports the business
  • Balances long-range plans with urgent needs; establish contingency plans to mitigate risks
  • Utilizes an analytical approach to design processes, programs and services that meet future business needs
  • Identifies human capital costs & benefits associated with organizational designs

EXECUTION:

  • Leverages easy-to-understand visuals to communicate business issues and recommend impactful solutions
  • Segments resource needs by skill type, performance, and geography in alignment with Business expansion / contraction
  • Translates business requests and HR processes into specific plans that can be operationalized
  • Deploys resources as required to deliver and execute high-quality solutions to the business
  • Evaluates / measures outcomes of HR programs and services
  • Plans, manages and monitors budgets in order to achieve financial targets

CONSULTATION AND INFLUENCING CHANGE:

  • Challenges and influences business leader's thinking; provides alternative insights on business issues
  • Instills confidence; earns trust and credibility with business leaders and HR by establishing a history of success
  • Listens, perceives, and adjusts behavior to different employee/leader styles
  • Establishes and appropriately leverages relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Uses change management principles to ensure initiatives are adopted and sustained
  • Maintains objectivity when negotiating trade-offs between competing priorities
  • Use organization savvy, intuition, and judgement to manage sensitive situations
  • Supports country business leader and management teams acting as a trustworthy HR Partner.

NAVIGATING HR:

  • Understands and navigates the complexities and implications of ER, legal, M&A, Contingent Labor, and Unions as they apply to the Business; understands and navigates the complexities of BHR/HR
  • Synthesizes and integrates HR services to ensure cohesive delivery of HR programs in the business
  • Builds and improves the quality and caliber of HR staff, both individually and collectively
  • Builds consensus around Practice Center standards & procedures and provide constructive feedback on improvements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or Human Resources Management;

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years successful Human Resources experience with a generalist and Multi HR-functional background in big multinational companies in matrix environment; Pharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting or FMCG Industry background preferred;
  • Working knowledge of relevant country legal/laws regulations as they apply to HR and the business;
  • Fluency in English, Russian;
  • Experience of supporting front-line, field-based client groups;
  • Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items;
  • Effective communicator - Demonstrates effective communication at all levels of the organization and across functions, influencing skills, stakeholders’ management;
  • Relationship Builder – Successfully builds productive, trusting, respectful relationships with senior management and corporate and support functions;
  • Continuous Improvement Focus - Contributes to process improvements for Human Resources and company-wide HR initiatives;
  • HR acumen including exposure/experience with areas such as talent management, performance management, OD/OD, ER, TA, compensation.
