Function: Corporate development and internal controls
Working schedule: 5 days a week, from 09:00 to 18:00. Based on nature of the work you will be able to work from office and from home

Your responsibilities as Transformation and Internal controls Expert:

Internal Control roles

  • Facilitate internal control (IC) framework development, assist Management in building effective IC system and proceeding aligned with IC framework, through providing support to Management on:
  • Fostering a favorable control environment
  • Designing and implementing control activities, compliance management program
  • Conduct periodic monitorings and assessments over the effectiveness and efficiency of current business processes, key control activities
  • Perform gap analysis, provide recommendations on improvements, proper documentations and communication
  • Facilitate initiatives for continuous business process and internal control improvements, communicate initiatives to management, assist the business units in developing of “business requirements” document

Transformation roles

  • Coordinate and facilitate Group transformational projects, serve as the subject matter expert, research and benchmark best practice, identify innovative approaches, maintain effective stakeholder communication and alignment throughout the project, support the project teams through changes and achieving the best outcomes, contribute to achievement of operational excellence
  • Conduct high level needs analysis and recommend service improvements, transformational initiatives to increase the efficiency of the systems
  • Communicate and collaborate with Stakeholders to turn transformational initiatives into solutions and deliverables
  • Assist in business and functional requirements preparation, build streamlined and effective processes, support technical design, testing and deployment to provide a best in class user experience
  • Define and shape the business process architecture within the defined areas of responsibility
  • Deploy project management tools and prepare documents to show delivery progress, flag risks/ issues and track outcomes achieved

Other roles

  • Monitoring of MLP reports provided by external auditors as per Management’s request (if needed)
  • Ensure Company’s FSCP (financial statements closure procedure) is in place and adequately designed and implemented
  • Coordinate with key internal and external assurance providers
  • Execute Superior’s verbal and written instructions

Position requirements:

  • Higher education in Economics or relative fields
  • International qualification is preferable (ACCA,  CIA minimum papers passed
  • Knowledge and skills in Process optimization, *Transformation projects, Internal control and relative fields
  • Understanding of Telecom industry (is preferable)
  • High analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong powerpoint and other visualization / presentation tools knowledge
  • Time management skills
  • Leadership and facilitating skills
  • At least 4 years of experience in Process optimization, Transformation, Internal control and relative Advisory fields
  • Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani and English languages, Good knowledge of Russian will be an advantage
  • Advanced user of MS Office (in particular MS Project & MS Excel & MS Visio & MS Power Point)
  • Good Inter-personal skills
  • Responsible attitude to work
  • Able to analyze and prioritize tasks
