The Swedish Institute (SI) will be offering scholarships to talented students from select countries for the 2017/2018 academic year. Scholarships are offered to students who will be starting a master’s programme or PhD position in autumn 2017.

The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships and Swedish-Turkish Scholarship Programme for master’s students first application steps takes place between 1 December 2016 – 16 January 2017. Start preparing your application early!
Which scholarships will be available for 2017/2018?
The following scholarship programmes will be accepting applications for studies starting autumn 2017:
Swedish Institute Study Scholarships – Full scholarships for master’s students who are citizens of countries on the OECD/DAC list (excluding countries part of existing Swedish Institute master’s programme scholarships).
Swedish-Turkish Scholarship Programme – Full scholarships for master’s students from Turkey.
Swedish Institute Scholarship for the Western Balkans – Funding for research projects by PhD students and postdocs from the Western Balkans within the fields of social sciences.
Visby Programme – Scholarships for master’s students and funding for PhD students and postdocs from countries around the Baltic Sea and EU Eastern Partnership countries and Russia.
