Degree Components

Learning Standards

The MBA program is application oriented. While learning the theory, through widely used case studies and simulations, students study how to put what they have learned into practice. Each class hosts executive guest speakers for students to learn from their experience.
The small group size of the program leads to more interactive learning. Students are always working on teams and the teams are changed four times throughout the program so the students will have the experience of working with a variety of backgrounds.
During the network weeks, company visits are arranged and top executives are visited.

Nature and Design

For MBA, minimum 3 years of full time work experienced is required.

Eligibility

The first and foremost condition for joining the Koç MBA Program is to be a highly motivated and dedicated individual. In addition, all applicants must possess the following qualifications:

·         Minimum 3 years working experience

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution

·         TOEFL

·         GMAT or GRE

·         Transcripts

·         Three Essays

·         Two Reference Letters

·         Application& tuition fee payment slip;

Fees:

For the 2017/2018 academic year, the tuition for the MBA Program is 63.400TL (approximately 18.000 USD). This fee covers tuition and registration and also allows full use of the library, computer laboratories and infirmary services.

The Koç Graduate School of Business offers a limited number of scholarships that are based on academic excellence (GMAT scores) to 12-Month MBA applicants only. Applicants to scholarships must complete the regular Koç MBA application form and an additional personal statement.

Application

All qualified applicants will be called for an interview by the Graduate School of Business. The candidates will be given a business case to read right before the interview and will be asked to answer questions related to the case as a part of the interview process. For both program, the Admission Committee consists of Graduate School of Business Executive Director, Program Manager and Program Coordinator. The committee makes the final admission decision on a consensus basis.
