SCHOLARSHIPS

The PhD program in Culture Studies offers 2 grants financed by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) as a result of a protocol with the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC). Applications are open from June 4 to June 22, 2020. More information here.
As an Associate Partner of the THE LISBON CONSORTIUM, the Millennium BCP Foundation offers up to 2 scholarships for Portuguese Master’s students upon admission to the program. The scholarship consists in a tuition reduction. Applications usually take place in September.
The EDP Foundation International Grant for the Lisbon Consortium is a scholarship for a non-Portuguese student of the Doctoral program in Culture Studies. Applications usually take place in September.
The Amélia de Mello Foundation Scholarship for the Lisbon Consortium is 2 scholarships for students of the Master’s program in Culture Studies and consists in a tuition reduction. Applications usually take place in September.
The D. Armindo Lopes Coelho Bispo do Porto Scholarship for the Lisbon Consortium is a scholarship sponsored by the Irmandade dos Clérigos for a Portuguese student of the Master’s and PhD program in Culture Studies, from the OPorto area. It consists in a tuition reduction. Applications usually take place in September.
AWARDS
The Research Award Lisbon Consortium/Fundação Amélia de Mello for the best Doctoral Thesis and best Master’s Dissertation/Project/Report consists in a prize money for publication of the research.
