Empowering researchers in the social sciences through digital technology
In this call, the ODISSEI (Open Data Infrastructure for Social Science and Economic Innovations) and the Netherlands eScience Center invite scientists employed at an ODISSEI member organization, whose main area of expertise is in the social sciences, to submit a proposal.
This call for proposals supports researchers in the social sciences who expect to benefit from the application or development of digital technologies and research software, but who need additional expertise in applying these methods.
When to apply
The deadline for the proposal is 6 September 2022, 14:00 CEST.

On 14 June 2022, we will organize an online information event from 13:00 to 15:00 CEST. At this event, interested applicants will get acquainted with the role and expertise of the eScience Center, learn about ODISSEI and their facilities, and obtain information about the specific aims of this call for proposals. Free consultancy
Interested applicants can register for a free individual one-hour consultancy meeting with an eScience Center expert and an ODISSEI SoDA team member. Prior to a consultancy meeting and proposal submission, applicants are encouraged to attend the online information event.
In this meeting, we can discuss the research questions, suitable technological solutions, the viability of the approach, and the match with the eScience Center expertise. Please indicate, in the registration form, the discussion topic(s) so that we can connect you with the best suited RSEs. We advise all applicants to attend the online information event before registering for a consultancy meeting.
