Training Workshop for higher education institutions

“How to prepare a successful project proposal”


ADA University Center of Excellence in EU Studies (CEEUS) is organizing a 5-day training workshop on development of educational project proposals on 19-23 November 2018 in Baku, ADA University.


The training workshop is aimed at building basic competencies of project design and writing including problem identification, target groups analysis, understanding Logical Framework Matrix approach, applying ICT skills for project planning and budgeting, text writing and grant application management.

During five training days led by international experts, participants will develop their knowledge in project proposal development starting from problem identification to project budgeting, writing and evaluation. Also, existing EU programs and tools such as Erasmus+, Jean Monnet, joint master degrees and etc., international practices of organization of project activities within higher education institutions will be reviewed. During the program practical sessions will be conducted and by the end of the workshop participants will have to come up with developed project drafts.

Trainers profile:

Alexander Rytov – Head of International Programs and Projects Office of the Belorussia State University. Has over 19 years’ experience in management of international programs, particularly Erasmus Mundus, CEI, V4Fund, Tempus, Erasmus+, Jean Monnet, UNESCO, etc. Organized and participated in the number of research projects focused on academic mobility, international students and internationalization. In 2015-2018 he has been a member of BFUG Advisory Group No. 2 on Support for the Belarus Roadmap for Bologna reforms.

Artsiom Nazaranka Co-author of 6 educational standards, 6 textbooks, 15 courses, experienced in grant-writing, developing and evaluation of curricula, ECTS. He took part in implementation of international projects, including Jean Monnet Module “Ethnic Minorities in the European Union”; expert of Jean Monnet Project “EU funded projects design and management”. Dr. Nazaranka is co-investigator for ERASMUS+ mobility projects with University of Kent and University of Malta.

Sessions will be conducted from 19 to 23 November (Monday-Friday), 2018 daily from 14.00 to 19.00 at ADA University.
